Topic: MF1 Hz switch by itself

I have MF1 windows 7 ultimate Sp1, latest drivers for soundcard, and sometimes when I listen to my music in winamp in Hammerfall DSP Settings Hz knows to switch on 48000Hz by itself but I put them on 41000Hz, is that some kind of bug ?

Re: MF1 Hz switch by itself

Maybe using it as a system default output device with 48 kHz being set as sample-rate in Windows' "Sound" settings?

Re: MF1 Hz switch by itself

Don't understand what your trying to suggest ?

I set sample rate to 44100Hz and when I listen to some songs I think they are in 44Khz maybe some of them in 48Khz but still when I switch back on songs with 44Khz he is still on 48000Hz in settings, and song lags, then I have to switch them manually to 44100Hz and then everything is normal.

Re: MF1 Hz switch by itself

Have you tried this with other software for playback? Which driver have you installed? If it is an older driver, are you switching the sample rate with the DDS option?

Re: MF1 Hz switch by itself

It's 3.26 drivers latest I said, I never had problem with winamp before this drivers, it's not that often that they switch to 48Khz by itself, but still it's not cool, and no I did not try with another software, winamp is my default audio/mp3 player.I am not switching until they switch it as I said by itself, then I must open Hammerfall DSP Settings and return Hz to 44100 becouse they put it on 48000Hz.

Re: MF1 Hz switch by itself

What output module of Winamp are you using?

Re: MF1 Hz switch by itself

I suppose that means "DirectSound"?

What is connected to the Hammerfall?

Re: MF1 Hz switch by itself

Set the Clock Mode / Clock Source in the Settings dialog to 'Internal'.
