Topic: Snow Leopard vs. Leopard latency?

hello,

as I just reverted back to the good MacOS 10.5.8 from 10.6.7 because of instabillity on my Mac Pro 1,1 one question still stands ..

Does Snow Lepoard offer better latency (for example 'no security buffer') compared to Leopard with the 2.77 drivers, or is it completely the same?

Core Audio did not change, nor did the buffer sizes.

core audio is the same in snow and non-snow? that is good to know. thanks!
