Hello,

I'm thinking about buying a Fireface UFX, so I wanted to have a look at the Fireface Mixer Software, espacially TotalMixFX.
My Computer is a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.5.8

I've installed TotalMixFX 0.942, but I was not able to open any Mixer oder Matrix window.
I'm not sure if TotalMix needs a connected Soundcard to run properly, so I downloaded and installed the Fireface Mixer Demo 2.56.

In the Mixer Demo I can switch between a Mixer and a Matrix View, but none of them stays more than five seconds on my screen before it disappears. Even if I'm holding or moving a fader with the mousebutton. When I minimize the mixer window it also disappears out of the Dock at the bottom after a few seconds. I have no additional software running in the background as far as I can assess.

Now I have two questions:
1.) Does TotalMix FX need a connected Soundcard to show Mixer or Matrix windows?
2.) Do you have any solution for my disappearing Mixer Window?
