Topic: Fireface 800 standalone soft synths

Hi

XP sp3 4 gb ram

If I open two  soft synths in standalone mode, there is distortion when I play either one.

If I close one of them so that there is only one running, the distortion goes away.

Is there a setting etc that will allow me to run multiple soft synths simultaneously or is this something I can do nothing about.

Probably there is a problem with sharing the same playback output.

Try to send synth1 to playback output 1&2 and synth2 to playback output 3&4 and then mix both in totalmix to physical out 1&2.

Thanks for responding. I did what you said:
I routed synth 1 to outputs 1 & 2
and
Synth 2 to outputs 3 & 4
and I still crackles when I play either synth.

The application is: Sometimes I want to copy zone settings from a Kontakt 4 instrument to a Kontakt 3 instrument so I mute one at a time and I still get crackles
