I have two Multiface II's (MFII) in my DAW: no issues work great.
My question: I have a mix of romplers, samplers, fx, that are all plugged in directly to my MFII's.
I do have some level issues. Most of the gear is TRS but some is TS. I have played around with the switches on the front of the MFII's. My level issues are not deal breakers they just make me wonder if I using my MFII's correctly.

Is this the "proper" way to use the inputs on the MFII's? Do most people use outboard gear like this or do they use preamps before the line ins?
