Topic: RAYDAT optical SPDIF question

Since there are options for activating both SPDIF In/Out on ADAT4, does this imply that they allow simultaneous operation of ADAT and SPDIF configurations on ADAT4? 

For instance, is the following possible?

ADAT4 IN = ADAT
ADAT4 OUT = SPDIF OPTICAL
(or vice versa)

Yes, certainly. You can only accept one SPDIF format in or out at a time, but the output format is not tied to the input.
