Topic: Hardware installation step 1....PC? PH?

Hi...I am at step one of the hardware installation..."check the correct firmware version by a double click on the rotary encoder button. The display PC means Windows, the display AP means Mac"

Fair enough. So I do that...I don't see PC or AP...I do see PH...and if I turn the rotary wheel I see: SP, A.1, A.3, A.5, A.7 etc

So...I have no idea what to do now. I am stumped at the first step.

lol

thanks for any help.

You have disconnected the USB cable as described in the manual before? Than double click the encoder button fast.

Yes I have the usb cable disconnected and I have clicked the rotary button fast also...just as the manual tells me to do.

How long should the 'PC' or 'AP' display stay lit up? Just for a split second or for a long time?

Ah...I got it installed.

It seems the PC or AP only flash up for a split second...like your eye can hardly see it. That's not ideal.

Anyway...now when I play tracks recorded and mixed down to WAV with my old soundcard (Presonus Firebox) it sounds like I am singing like a chipmunk. They are sped up.

What's up with that?

Please check the samplerate of the UC. It has to match the samplerate of your old WAV files. If they are saved with 44.1 kHz they have to be played back with the same rate.
