Topic: how do you record streaming audio from the internet

Hello everyone,

I was looking to record streaming audio/podcast segment into a cubase project I'm working on...

I found this post but I'm guessing my setup is much different from when this was posted
http://www.rme-audio.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4238

it says basically to "uncheck the interleaved" then i can properly route everything to where it needs to go... However, that is missing on my setup

I'm using the FF400 on win64    Driver 3.047 / 1.70

any suggestions?

thanks in advance

See the manual section "Recording a subgroup (Loopback)" or use "loopback" on a search term for this forum.

Hi,
We have Tutorial for doing this on the RME Americas Facebook Page.
It is based on the newer Total Mix FX devices but is basically the same steps.
The only real difference is the Loopback option being a key command with teh older Total Mix instead of a button that is on the new Total Mix FX.

This will work for Cubase SX4 or Higher. The tutorial uses Cubase 6.
