Topic: FF400] Host led stay Red when using FireWire bus power

Hello,
Problem : my FF400 only sync when i use the power supply(i tested on different computers), when i use 6 pin firewire, the host led stays red.
What could cause this problem and how can i solve this issue?

What kind of computer is the device connected to?

PC with pci firewire card(texas instrument) + windows 7 x64.

Can you test a different computer or FW card?
