Topic: FIREFACE to SSL alpha link.

hey !

on macbook pro 2.2 intelcore i7 10.6.8 -

tryin to go adat cable out from the fireface into the alpha link onwards from the ssl analog outputs to API summoning..
the fireface adat STATE LED doesnt liteup..and in the fireface usb settings ADAT 1 nd 2 says NO lock..
do i need to connect more cables like the clock cable ?
do i need to change any settings in the fireface ?

If no ADAT is going into the FF, you will see "No Lock". Perfectly normal...
Set the SSL to sync to incoming ADAT, and al should be well...

hi,

ok, new concept :

So the fireface to SSL alpha link to 3 api 8200 sounds amazing !
loads of dynamics and depth that wasnt there before.
however, the SSL might not be my first choice- what product of yours
would be the equvivalent of the alpha link ? adat to 24 or 16 channel analog ?
would u have any comments on your product compared to the SSL ?
