Topic: ff400 and adi 96 pro converter master\ slave problem

hi
i have a sound card rme ff 400 and an adi 96 pro rme converter.when i record from the adi converter therow ff 400 to my cubase in 24 bit and 44.1khz i have a message in the middle of the recording that tells me that the 44.100 khz change to 32.000 khz or sometime to 48.000 khz .
what can i do to stop this message and way it is happend.

It sounds like you have both units set to sync to each other, which means there is no master clock. Please reply with your clock settings for both the FF400 and the ADI 96 Pro, and tell us which one should be the master.

my world clock out in the adi converter was - of - / and in the ff 400 the clock mode sample rate is 44.100khz / the clock source is in - word -
is it  o. k ?
i dont know were to look how is slave and who is master and who need to be slave or master, can you tell me?

Hi,

One is Master in digital system/audio device
the rest follows (slave) to the digital clock in audio device(s)
so is the FF400 Master or both ? there can only be One Master
