Topic: Coaxial Digital (BossBR-1600) to Babyface - Multi Inputs?

Ive got a Babyface, and also a Boss BR-1600 Digital recorder.

Im wondering if and how I can connect the two units to gain the 8 extra inputs.

The BOSS unit only has 2 channels via SPDIF, so it's not possible to use it as an 8 ch AD/DA converter.

So just stereo in and out?

That still could be useful. More using it as a mixer. Not for the final takes, just rough guide tracks
