Topic: decouple Mac volume control from RME faders

Hi there

I have a MacbookPro OSX 10.5.8, using a Fireface 400 Firewire.

Is there a way to decouple the Mac's internal master volume control from the Fireface's Faders, or even just the non-master output?  Even when I select 'Built in Output' as the System Ouput option in the Audio/Midi set-up the Mac's volume control still causes ALL the faders in the output section to move.

Would be great if there was a work-around for this!

Can't reproduce this here (with the FF not as default audio). Which volume control exactly are you referring to? The manu bar fader?

It doesn't happens here neither. OSX 10.7.1
