Topic: FFUC via balanced XLR/TRS stereo jack hum on makes on subwoofer only

FFUC via balanced XLR/TRS stereo jack  makes hum on subwoofer ( Adam sub 7)   only (??? ) Connecting the same cables to satelites ( Adam a7) do nothing ( no hum ). Any ideas ( except of Manual page 40 :-) ) ?

Cut off XLR Pin 1 solved problem. No ground no hum. Thanks

Re: FFUC via balanced XLR/TRS stereo jack hum on makes on subwoofer only

Sweet!  This "Lift XLR Pin 1" method is also safe (unlike lifting the AC Mains Ground which can yeild deadly results in certain failure conditions).

Enjoy your hum-free sub :-)

Bad news!   No hum in sub (till FF power on :-) )  , but ....... silent scratches and little hum in monitors :-).   No ideas.  DI-box or Furman?
