Topic: Fireface 400 Playback doesn´t work under Windows 7

Hello,

Using a Fireface 400 under Win 7, onboard Firewire from Motherboard ASUS P5b deluxe.

I can open total Mix and the settings dialog. But no playback at all. Cubase loads the Asio driver, but doesn´t playback.

Digicheck doesn´t see the device at all.

The FF400 unit works properly with my Thinkpad T61/ Expresscard Firewire.

Driver Version 3.059
Hardware Revision 1.70

Any Ideas?

Try using the "Legacy" driver for your FireWire chip: http://www.rme-audio.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=12742

Thank you for your reply.

That doesn´t solve the problem. With legacy drivers the host led is red and I can´t even use the settings and total mix, which is possible when using TI drivers....
