Topic: background noise

I have a FF400, I do not know how to remove that annoying background noise that occasionally presents itself, seems to be a sound latency, to explain that I can think of a stylus of a turntable that jumps, more or not ... I tried to change the latency from 256 to 44100 standard, rising to 512 ... but no doubt it is a problem of CPU, and a machine of latest-generation Pentium 8core, ram 8 g. What could it be? does it sound digital? is it getting more of that "jumps" when you start an application like cubase or live?

yes, more or less ... and when it presents qbase running, while a piece of string sound, for example, or other .. time to time, not cyclical ... it does seem as heavy as samples only with bows or just plan ...
