Topic: Babyface - headphones channels are not equal in volume

Hey there
When I listen through the headphones output of my Babyface, the left channel is louder than the right channel.

- Pan in Total mix is in the middle.
- LED on the Babyface (and also display in Total mix) show same volume for left and right.
- The headphones work.

What could that be, probably a hardware error?

Thanks, Beat

Do you find the same problem on both the internal Phones jack and the breakout cable? Have you tried a different pair of headphones or mini-phone jack adapter?

Re: Babyface - headphones channels are not equal in volume

I think I am having the same problem with the headphone output 1 (analogue 9/10) on my UFX. I must double check, but either the software is changing something on that channel only without me touching total mix fx, or there is a problem else where. The other headphone output is fine so it can't be a problem with my headphones etc

Re: Babyface - headphones channels are not equal in volume

Hey there
I am talking about the phones-output on the little machine itself, I checked the phones-output on the wirething - dont know the word in english - there it works perfectly fine...

conclusion: it cant be the headphones...

Re: Babyface - headphones channels are not equal in volume

breakout cable is the word, there it works... perfect stereo
