Topic: Should i use aes as a clock or BNC?

I want to connect my hsp aes card with the tascam dm.Should I use the aes as a word clock or connect an extra bnc cable and leave the aes for digital audio data only?

The RME card will not behave any differently in the two sync scenarios if the Tascam unit is master. If set the other way (RME as master) I can't say how the Tascam reacts.
