Topic: Babyface - controlling 2 headphones outs at once

Hi,

My Logitech 2.1 speakers are connected at the right side of the Babyface to its "phones" output and my AKG 272 headphones are connected to the external cables "phones" output. Now when I listen to audio I can hear the signal from both devices - AKG272 and Logitech. How can I mute the AKG272 signal only through TotalMix or muting Logitechs only? I still couldn't figure it out by reading the manual..

Thanks

Re: Babyface - controlling 2 headphones outs at once

Both phones outputs carry the same signal (Phones out 3/4 in the mixer). There is no way to mute only one of them in this setup. But why not connect the speakers to the XLR outputs of the breakout cable?

Re: Babyface - controlling 2 headphones outs at once

Cause Jeff recommended me buying a  headphone to mini-phone (1/4" to 1/8" TRS) adapter and connecting the Logitech to the regular phone output. Do u think I should consider buying an adapter to XLR in my case?

Yes, if you want two different signals, which can be muted individually, you need the other analog output with the XLRs.
