Topic: Help with audio delay in Windows 7

Hi! I have a Sony VAIO F series laptop and Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate, SP1) and a RME Babyface. I am always having delayed Windows sounds. In Windows Explorer and everythign else too. For example: when I double-click a folder to open it in Windows Explorer the folder opens but the sound plays later (sometimes half a second later sometimes even about a second later). This problem is presnet wether I use the Babyface OR the integrated soundcard so it's 99% not a Babyface fault. But if you maybe know what could be the cause of this and how to get it right - please help!

Does that only the first time you open a folder, or every time? Try doing it twice in a row.

It's happening all the time. When I click on the folder with the mouse pointer - with my finger. The sound is always off a little.
