Topic: FIREFACE Drop Out Probleme, inkl. Monitoring Latency Mon

Hallo,

leider habe ich immer wieder drop-outs bei der Aufnahme oder auch nach einiger Zeit beim Aspiken meiner DAW (Ableton).
Ich nutze eine Fireface 400 und eine Fireface 800.

Anschluss FIREWIRE 800 - FIREWIRE 400 - PC

Der Latencymon Zeigt mir immer wieder diesen Fehler an. Leider kann ich nichts damit anfangen um zu sagen woran das liegen könnte.

Was ist der Wdf01000.sys - Kernelmodustreiber-Frameworklaufzeit, Microsoft Corporation????????
Und woran kann das liegen.

ps: Ein Freund von mir mit einem I7-quadcore hatte ein ähnliches Problem, bei dem der erste Core mit nahezu 50% ausgelastet war und dadurch ein vernünftiges Arbeiten nicht mehr möglich war. Das ist ein "Windows-Problem"!

Hey Zapp, ich habe das bereits gegooglet, und 90 % sind irgendwelche Beschreibungen zur Virusentfernung, einen Virus kann ich komplett ausschliessen.

Da diese Meldung auch nur kommt, wenn einer der Fireface angeschlossen ist, gehe ich schon von einem RME Fehler aus.
Mittlerweile habe ich die Firefaces auch mit einem BND Kabel gesinnt, was vorher nicht der fall war.

Gestern konnte ich mal etwas länger Musik machen....allerdings jedesmal wenn ich ein UAD Plug In öffne, kamen die Drop Outs....
Muss dann immer kurz die Audiokarte in der DAW deaktivieren und wieder aktivieren, dann sind die Drop Outs weg.

So richtig zufrieden bin ich noch nicht......aber es wird besser....

Wdf01000.sys ist der Windows Firewire Treiber. Die DPCs entstehen durch die Nutzung des Fireface.

Besser die DPC Latenzen *ohne* Audiointerface messen und auch den DPC Latency Checker nutzen (Latenzen entstehen nicht nur durch DPCs).

Außerdem mal versuchen Live auf "Echtzeit" Priorität anzuheben. Dazu den entweder den Task-Manager "als Administrator" starten, oder den Haken unterhalb der Prozessliste setzen (Prozess aller Benutzer anzeigen), sonst fehlt die Berechtigung.
