Topic: Direct Monitoring Problem with Babyface

I have a Babyface, a Neumann TLM 102, a PC Intel Core Q8200 2.3 Ghz. Windows Vista SP 2. All in all I have an input signal in Total Mix FX und I even can record things in Cubase 5 but I have a really annoying problem with my configuration, that I cannot hear the input signal / voice in my headphones. I can hear everything like songs from mediaplayer or in Cubase 5, but I cannot hear the input signal!!  I already tried with different headphones Please help me!!

Hi,

Chapter 5 of the Cubase 5 Operation manual goes into detail on Recording and monitoring inside of Cubase.

Here is a quick guide to make sure you have Cubase setup correctly with your RME Babyface.
