I think my FF800 is broken.(bought 2006)
Clicks appear when I just open a project in Nuendo 96khz.
Same thing happens with logic on mac!

After a long time I found a way to work with a macbookpro via bootcamp XP sp2 to record live gigs on 26 tracks 24b 48khz without any trouble!

Now I am working on a CD project with only acoustic instruments so I choose to do it all in 96khz.  And just now and then I heard a click while recording mostly on adat channel 1( no big worries but not very nice).
But now I hear clicks with even an empty new project in 96k!!
So I thought maybe the macbookpro is a little shortcoming is terms of speed core duo 2,26ghz  2gb ram so after a while I bought a new PC. The clicks did  disappear!
And then the next day they where back again and the next day It works flawless and then..........ect.And sometimes it disappears after lets say 30 min or less clicks??

I have tried about everything I can think of! New cable's different drivers without Apogee WC  (on internal clock etc)  My old laptop FF400

spec are PC
Intel I7  CPU 950 @3,07ghz(Asus P6X58D-E)
4gb ram
1tb driver (only a C driver) no second drive
Texas fw 800 and 400
FF Driver 3.059 Hardware revision 2.77
window XP home sp2

FF800 is clocked thru word clock from apogee rosetta 800
sync is set to word. All inputs are stated sync without interruptions no Errors reported. single WC cable from Apogee WC out to FF WC in terminated led is on!
It only occurs when I open a 96khz project without playback strange enough only on the left channel! the sparks I hear are not visible in the total mix screen!

NOW the biggest trouble is that sometimes this does not happen at all!
Example one day I worked for 12 ours straight without any trouble no clicks no nothing just perfect!
the next day I startup and open the same project and there is trouble clicks just very irregular!

Then I switch to mac same thing happens  with latest drivers as well!
I just cannot see why it is sometimes without any trouble and sometimes with clicks!

Can anyone help?
Or is mine just Broken!
