Topic: consistant loud white noise with multiface on Windows XP SP3

Setup
OS - Windows XP SP3
Intel Pentium D 3.2 Ghz processor (HT turned on)
4 GB Ram
Geforce 210 1 GB DDR2 graphics card
PCI HDSP card with Multiface

Issue - there is lof of constant loud white noise after installing the latest drivers, instrument sound is not audible yet all

have done the following things but no luck
I have reseated card in a different slot away from all of other cards
changed firewire cables
changed instrument cables
directly powered multiface

worked fine when i had old driver.. am hesitant to install old driver as am afraid it might mess up the setup.

any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Regards
KK

Did you update the HDSP card firmware to match the driver? Check which version numbers are reported on the "About" tab of HDSP Settings.
