Topic: Configuring FF800 for playback from Logic Pro? Newbie question-

Just how does one configure the FF800 for playback from Logic Pro? Can the rear analog outputs be used to this end? My intent is to run them to a mixer > amp > speaker rig, for stereo monitoring.

The setup is currently working great for recording.

Yes, typically you would connect Outputs Analog 1 (L) / Analog 2 (R) to your monitoring system. Logic should already default to this (AN1/AN2) for the master output bus.

Great. I certainly need to brush up my keyword skills when searching...simple info like this hardly ever pops up. For instance, I get nothing when searching for the location of the master output bus (I want to SEE it, to make certain).

There is no default Main output on the Fireface 800. Any output pair could be used the same way, but out of habit most people would just use the 1/2 pair.

OK, got it. So, then, further: FF800 as output device, and "Output 1-2" in Logic audio preferences, would be correct?
