I plan to build a new Desktop and build a system around the HDSPe AES card. I think I would like to feed it with a digital mixer with AES outs. What are some of the configurations of current owners using HDSPe AES? A controller would also be a nice addition. I have Samplitude Pro software, but I'm getting tired of their expensive upgrades (latest is $300) and I wouldn't mind switching. I see that the ubunbtu Arbour audio software recommends RME hardware. I may try using Arbour. I'm seeking any suggestions. I have loaded Ubuntu onto my Dell but I need to go back and do it according to the tutorial I saw. My daughter says I should study up on working with command lines before I start working with Ubuntu.
