Topic: Fireface 800, 2 x Octamic, Alesis HD24 --> How to set up clock?

Hey guys,

I will have a recording next week. My setup is:

1 x Fireface 800
2 x Octamic (I and II)
1x Alesis HD24 (only for backup)

There 20 signals to record. So my plan is:

1-8 and 9-16 into the Octamics and via ADAT to HD24 and than via ADAT to Fireface
17 - 20 into the Fireface and via ADAT to HD24

And than of course from the Fireface via Firewire into my MacBook.


So my question ist, how should I set up the clock correctly for this set up? Which should be Master/Slave? Is it possible to sync the devices only via ADAT?
