Topic: Fireface UC - no printed manual?

Hi all,

i just bought a Fireface UC and it came without a printed manual. the support from the company where i bought it, told me that i can download it from the RME Homepage, what i allrdy did. I am just curious if a printed manual should be included in the delivery, cause for that price i expect to get a product that is complete.
some info would be much appreciated.

Hi decoder23!

I am a RME user since ages and agree with the way RME deals with manuals. As soon as they are printed they are obsolet when a new driver release is coming out or something changes. That means paper waste...
You always can download the newest versions and read them - and print them.
This is IMHO the best way as a printed manual will raise the price of the product significantly.

ok, this is fine for me then. i just thought that my delivery wasnt complete, cause it was B-Stock and i read somewhere, that a manual is included. i also found this picture http://www.digitaljockey.it/dij/images/ … ezione.jpg
where u can see a fat manual.
