Topic: Calibrate problem with Fireface 880

Hi all,i'm Matteo and i have a problem. I have in my studio a daw ProTools 9 HD and my audio signal goes trough a SSl MADI EXTREME 64 in to SSL AlphaLink. All Alphalink's analog outputs go in a Dangerous 2bus and the total sum goes in 2 analog inputs of my Fireface800. The problem is that when i put a signal generator to -15dbfs in pro tools i see in the meter of PT  -15dbfs also in the dangerous, but in the TotalMix of FF800 in the analog inputs i see in these meters a signal of -12 dbfs.
Why?
In my Fireface setting the analog and output input is in high gain and low gain. Is it the right setting?

Thanks to all for your answers guys.

Re: Calibrate problem with Fireface 880

I guess you use the +3dB option.

Re: Calibrate problem with Fireface 880

You didn't mention Digicheck so far. This option exists for the Totalmix meters and in DIGICheck as well..
