I love the sound of my UFX, I love the functionality of the total mix, but one basic function I can't work around:
To hear only the mic input when recording I need to manually mute the playback function in DP on that track I'm recording or otherwise I hear the signal twice.
In DP there is a "input" button that should automatically switches between input and output, but apparently it only works with MOTU interfaces not with RME.
Does anyone have a workaround? Does RME plan to make the interface compatible?
I want it to work like an in-line board, if you know what i mean.
This is especially critical when doing drops (punch in recordings).
