Topic: No latency at Protools 9.

Hi to all.

Is there some way to record without ANY latency (FF800 + Protools 9) when using external gear?.

I´ve tried as inserts (with ADC), the sends way, etc.. There´s always diffrent latency issues.

I need to record Dry & Eff in diffrent channels without any latency.

Help!.

Hi,
no, it's not possible. But usually you could measure the latency and add it as a delay to the other channels, this way you don't run into any problems. After all, the latencies themselves are so low that they are not noticeable by themselves (without being mixed).
