Topic: Fireface 800 Issue

I just upgraded to the FF800 installed the new drivers from the website and when I play any sound all I get is a fast pulse type noise I would record it but the unit isn't working!. It gets louder as I turn the volume up on the unit.

AMD Phenom x4 Processor 3.40 GHz
8GB RAM
Win7 64bit Home
Cubase 5
RME FireFace 800

I Uninstalled and re-installed the drivers several times along with a re-boot each time. What am I doing wrong?

I guess it could be buzzing but I'm not sure I will try and get a sound clip of it today.

You did not apply the necessary firmware update to the FF 800.
