Topic: 2 Interfaces at once - UFX and Line 6?

So...this basically boils down to the talkback.  I have one input left on my UFX and I can't bare to use it for something as simple as a talkback.  So...my question is, could I use a Line 6 UX1 that I have laying around?  Would the UFX "see" it in the input list?  Perhaps I might be better off with an ADAT pre to get some more inputs?

Hi,
The Line 6 UX1 can easily be plugged into a set of the analog line inputs of the UFX.
It will basically be like you using a POD as an external guitar fx processor.

The only thing don't know is if the Line 6 driver and control software will interfere with the UFX. It "shouldn't" like I do not know for sure.
Just go ahead and test it. You will be using the stand along software I think to control the effects. I don't know how it would work if using the Line 6 VST plugins. If Line 6 did things right then it should fine.

Thanks Chris

Chris, I think you misunderstood the question.

No, you can't use a different USB interface for Talkback in TMFX. Only an input of the UFX can be used for this purpose. You can use the ADAT or AES/EBU in along with an external A/D converter to add more analog ins.
