Topic: Fireface Settings panel and OSX Lion full screen issues

Hey all, just a small issue that keeps popping up for me (literally).  I use full screen mode for a lot of my apps on the laptop (Logic, etc) and one annoying issue that often when I go back to my desktop screen on the laptop (using 4 finger swipe), the Fireface Settings panel is now visible and not hidden like it is by default.  Doens't happen everytime, but probably every other time at least.  It also happens if I close another app while it is in full-screen mode, the settings panel automatically 'unhides' itself.

Narrowing down the issue some more, it appears that this also happens with the Fireface Mixer panel as well.  When you close any other app in full screen mode, the last RME app you opened (settings or mixer) automatically unhides itself when you go back to your desktop.

Re: Fireface Settings panel and OSX Lion full screen issues

I have this same issue with the FireFace 800 Fireface Settings Version 3.06, Kernal Driver v3.06 with 10.7.3.

It has been popping up on me for reasons I can't figure out as long as I can remember.  At least back to Tiger, I talked to one of the programers at NYC AES and he just said it shouldn't do that (frustrating).  Now it pops up so much in Lion it is driving me batty.  I wrote a script to close both the mixer and the settings on computer start up, even though neither of them are set for my sound in System preferences nor are they set up as start up items in the users settings.  I also very rarely use full screen mode so I am not sure what is causing this behavior for me.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Any ideas why this happens?  It opens up it seems randomly sometimes when MS Word opens even.  I don't want it to ever open and don't understand why it self opens the mixer and the Fireface settings.  It has been doing this since Tiger and even prevents my computer from shutting down often in Lion.  This isn't related to full screen but it similar to the original post.
