Topic: Hooking up External Buss Compressor with RME AIO Card

Hi guys, need some help here.

I'm on Cubase and have hooked up a stereo buss compressor via its external effects send and return into my RME AIO analog 1 & 2 RCA inputs and outputs.

After reading through the instruction manual on loopback mode and trying out the routing examples given, I keep getting a comb filtering result and feedback loop.  Obviously I'm not doing it right.

My master buss is sent via spdif to my Lavry's for monitoring. What is the correct way to route  the buss compressor signal in TotalMix for mixing, monitoring and printing it to another track?

Any help would be very much appreciated.  Thanks.
