Topic: running win7 as a standard user(limited rights) ?

hello,

I like to run my account as a standard user(you have an admin user and a standard user with limited rights) in win7 for security reasons. I had some problems with random disconnects (red host LED on my multiface) in the past 3 month so I reinstalled my os. I did not have a single problem since three days, but I use an admin account at the moment. Of course this account thing don't have to be the reason, but I thought I just ask this question.

Are there any known problems with a standard account and UAC at the highest level in combination with a pci Multiface?

Re: running win7 as a standard user(limited rights) ?

a simple so far no known problems would help me a lot. I don't need a guarantee:-)

No known issues to the best of my knowledge.

You can always add a "Limited User Account" to your current OS and see if the problem returns on your "Known Good" OS Install wink  That will eliminate TONS of variables at the Kernel level...
