Topic: PC wont recognize Firefaces

Hi,
Does anyone know what's going on?
After the latest windows update, my  2 Firefaces are no longer seen by my PC. (i'm assuming it is the update which is causing the problem)
The toolbar icons(mix and settings) are still visible but nothing happens when they are clicked.
Trying to reinstall the drivers just crashes the computer.
Both Firefaces work fine on my mac laptop. Tried different cables too.
I checked "System Restore" and see my 3 drives and they say "monitoring".
Am I supposed to see dates to roll back? The "turn off system restore on all drives" is UNchecked. Never used this before.
Any ideas?

Check the Device Manager - your FireWire port might be missing or inactive.

I think you are right.
It seems to work plugged into the Firewire 400 ports, but not the 800 ports.
How do I reactivate them?
