Topic: Babyface causing problems on startup

Hi all

Am using Windows 7 64-bit with the Babyface. When I turn the computer on with the Babyface installed, something weird happens...a constant noise is being made from the Babyface audio outputs, and the computer display is going crazy. It looks as though the computer has crashed/had a major hardware problem but...when I unplug the USB cable from the Babyface and then plug it back in, the problem goes away. Two things to note:

- this problem only started last week, it was fine for a few months before that...but can't see what I've changed, except...

- I've started running the Babyface off a powered USB hub...is more reliable that way. So power is already coming into the Babyface before the PC starts. Could that be the problem?

Many Thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Some more info and spec on your computer system would be helpful.
Have you tried the Babyface on a different system yet?
Thanks Chris

Re: Babyface causing problems on startup

Hi Chris,

My PC won't start or even wake from sleep if I have the babyface usb connected.
I have to force sleep using the power button, disconnect the babyface and then try again.

I'm on an ASUS K53SD laptop on Windows 7 64-bit.

Thanks.
