Topic: mic sound only coming out of left speaker

I just installed a mic for the first time and the sound is only coming out of the left side.. Is it supposed to do that?  Is there a way to center it?  thanks

If you monitor the input through Totalmix, you can pan the mono signal to center.

where do I find totalmix?  Right now I've got my input coming through "In 1", in the mixer and it is set to "AN 1+2".  I tried panning to center on that channel, but the sound is still only coming out of my left speaker

seems fairly straight forward but I still cant get the mic sound out of both speakers..I panned the input signal to the center and it doesnt change anything

got it working..  not sure how but its suddenly coming out of both speakers :-)
