Hi,

I have a really old Acer 3023 laptop and I just can't get a decent playback for my files on an external 1TB disk.
Clicks are there all the time no even though the buffer size is cranked up to the max, 2048 samples.
After a few minutes of playback, without other programs running, or touching anything, the sound will turn into a wobbly & trembling sound.
Only stopping the playback and changing file would fix things, but always with clicks.

At this point I'm thinking of buying a budget laptop, running Windows 7, just for playback purposes.

Does anyone have suggestions on machines tested and working with the Babyface ?
