Greetings. I have just installed my second 9652 into our studio, into a second DAW.  Love this card. I am attempting to connect the spdif optical output from a media computer, into the input of the 9652. This spdif resides on the system board of the media machine. It is not working. The 9652 is working, I have a different input setup and am getting signal. I am getting nothing from the media machine.

The media machine APPEARS to be outputting properly. I have the proper sound device loaded and get signal at the volume control of the computer.

Under settings I have SPDIF in set to adat1, and the spdif cable is connected to adat1 input.  I have tried swapping optical cables.

Is there a difference between a toslink standard optical cable and a spdif optical cable?

System: Windows 7 64 bit, Reaper, i5, 8GB, lots of storage.

Any help most appreciated.
