Topic: cubase / pro tools vst processing

Hi

Does the vsti processing take place on rme soundcard or my computer?

Is it true rtas uses the native computer memory and not the babyface? And vst is run on a soundcard?

Is cubase beter since i will have to use VST in wrapper  with pro tools?

Does babyface latency depend on DAW?

Basically need to decide weather to take pro tools trial or not. Will cost me around 70$ for the ilok.

All plugin processing (VST, RTAS) take place on the CPU of the host system.

Does babyface latency depend on DAW?

There are differences between DAWs and the used driver model, but it depends mostly on all hardware and software components of the host system.
