Hi ..
I have this pc :
Processor :core i7 950 ---- Mother board : Asus P6X58D-E ---- 12GB Ram.... Windows 7 64bit..
I used to work on this system with an M-Audio fire wire 410 for 1 year without any problem...
Then I had a Fireface 800 about 4 months ago and my problems began...
First ..My system didn`t recognize the firaface 800 Automatically , means I had to tell the Device Manager what this hardware is about and install it`s driver by force....
When I started my Cubase 5 .. in a buffer size 128 ...the asio is not stable and jumped to overload even I didn`t open any project yet..and my Pc is shutting down  suddenly without any reason .....
I had the latest update of fireface 800 and the latest firmware of it....
After about 3 weeks of trying to solve this problem -wich I thinked that it`s with my Pc- I turned back to my old Audio Interface (M-Audio Fire wire 410) and installed its driver and everything is ok...
Then I tried to start my fireface 800 and it started without any Latency problem till about 2 weeks ago.... The problem came back again....
What should I do please??????
