Hello gang,
with the demise of 17" MacBooks (which I expect would mean the end of ExpressCard/34 slot in MBP line, source: http://www.reghardware.com/2012/04/24/a … ook_pro/), I've searched this forum for people's experience with Sonnet's Echo ExpressCard/34 Thunderbolt Adapter. So far I've found ocassional posts saying the adapter works here and there. But me and I assume many others would love to hear from the early adopters, what is the long-term (well - long means a few months now experience with regards to stability, latency, ease of use, possible troubles, etc. with Sonnet's product.
What interface did you hook to this adapter? How much did your workflow change? Do you take some special/different precautions when using the adapter compared to plugging HDSPe directly to your machine?
Please share your experience.
