Topic: How to get the signal of my instrument into Ableton/Logic?

Sorry if this is something very basic and covered elsewhere on here but a quick search on this forum hasn't gotten me any results, so here I go:

I'm a new owner of a FF400 and so far everything worked out. Except this very important thing: Why doesn't Ableton react to the signal input of the Korg that is connected to instrument inputs 3 and 4 (tried line ins 5,6 also) ? Samples, Midi is played back through the FF and out of Ableton's master but the Korg is heard only through the FF. If I select Audio IN in Ableton there is no Audio coming into the channel, only out of the FF. Do I have to do any fancy routing in order to record something into Ableton or is something wrong here? Or am I jus stewpid?

Thanks for any help!

? nobody have an idea ?

Maybe you just haven't told Ableton clearly to listen to inputs 3/4? Please refer to the software manual, which will explain how to select specific inputs.
