Topic: Babyface + Traktor

I am proud owner of babyface sound card. smile

I want to ask whether it is possible to connect the Tractor Scratch Pro and Babyface on the way that master from Traktor goes on output1 by babyface, but I can listen other channels that are on cue on traktor to babyface output channel for headphones?

In other words, the deck A goes to the master, while I'm listening the other decks (B, C, D) on channel headphone Babyface? I think it is called cue-ing. It is the dj-ing bussines!

Thanks for your answers! If not well explained, which is my problem, please correct me.

I would be astonished if this not possible. It depends on Tractor, the Babyface is ready for it.

I had the same problem. Can't select two different audio devices unfortunately. Eg laptop output and usb headphones. Bit lame.

This thread calls to be deleted, because it causes more confusion than information.

- You can select different output channels in Traktor for monitoring and playback (Deck, Prelisten etc).

- The Babyface TotalMix is NOT needed for that at all. The settings shown in the video are the shipping default.

- You can not use different audio interfaces (two) to playback these two sources. That is the same for nearly any software out there, and I fail how this could be called 'lame'. Technically it is just nonsense, to start with (no common clock).

Re: Babyface + Traktor

Apologies.

I was on a train and I wanted to listnen to my friend mix I had 3.5mm head phones and wanted to plug them into his laptop audio whilst he listened via his Audio 8 interface. I figured if traktor it can stream/broadcast music via the internet, it should be able to play the music out of the in-built soundcard.

I presumed the other user wanted to use the vinly/ CDJ control feature of the Audio 6/8 Traktor Scratch Pro with the extra audio quality of the Babyface.
