Topic: Babyface SPDIF to Violectric V800 DAC via foobar2000

hi,

want to feed my violectric v800 dac via babyface SPDIF using foobar2000 1.1.11. choosing in foobar: WASAPI SPDIF 1+2 Babyface.
connected babyface via Optical I/O to v800. babyface USB settings says: input status optical - no lock / v800 says lock
so playing a song with 44100hz 16bit works-usb settings in baby is 44100hz, switching to a song with 24bit 96000hz foobar says: unsupported stream format
need to stop foobar and switch in babyface settings 96000hz. need to choose in foobar again WASAPI SPDIF 1+2 Babyface
now it works.

any suggestions to simplify the process?

Use ASIO with Foobar, then the sample rate changes automatically.
