Topic: FF400 Earth Problem

Hi Just to let everyone know Rob from Synthax popped round this morning (I live in Watford) with a FF800 so I could see if it cured my horrible earth noise problem. It didn't, so I've come to the conclusion that it's my PC which is the problem. It seems odd having the earth screen of the firewire port connected to the earth of the audio on the ff400, but I guess this is normal.

Very impressed with RME I have to say. So far both issues I've had with my ff400 have ended up being due to the computer rather than the card itself.

Very good customer service Rob!!! Give this guy a promotion!!

Yes I did. I think it unfair for me to leave a post up which might mislead people to think that the problem was with the ff400. Turns out my computer is crap.
