Topic: Babyface Speaker B Setup

Hello,

I have had my BF for a number of months now.  I have it connected to an Apogee AD-8000 using the ADAT optical connections.  Everything works great and sounds fantastic.

I would like to set up Speaker B so I can use a 2nd pair of monitors.  I have the Main Output Assignment going to AS1/2 (the first stereo output pair of the AD-8000).  For Speaker B I would like to use AN1/2 (the analog outputs of the BF).  When I select it, a new master fader comes up and it is set to be linked to the Main Output fader.

Only issue I am having is that when I select Speaker B, the rotary encoder on the BF no longer adjusts the level.  When I have Speak. B deselected, the rotary encoder controls the Main Output and the Speak. B output fader tracks it just fine.

Am I missing something here?  I am using TotalMix FX ver. 0.97 MAC OS X (1) with Mac OS X 10.7.3

Thanks in advance for any input or advice you all may have.

Re: Babyface Speaker B Setup

Which driver and firmware rev are reported in Fireface USB Settings?

Re: Babyface Speaker B Setup

That is a limitation of the Babyface hardware when using ADAT/SPDIF for monitoring which will not change in the future, sorry.
