Topic: using macbook pro FW800port as BusPower

Hi...
i have a fireface400 interface and my system is macbook pro 13" (with cpu core i5 and 4G ddr3 of RAM).
please guide me that can i using of my fireface400 with my macbook pro in BusPower mode?
meanwhile you now that macbook pro have a firewire800 port and must use a 400 to 800 converter to connect fireface400.

Just get a simple FW800-FW400 cable and you are good to go.

this meant that i can connect my fireface400 to my macbook pro as busPower without adapter??

Yes, I am doing the same. It even works over a repeater cable (which allows to add another 5m length).
